The General Directorate of Traffic in Qatar has announced a 60-day extension of the grace period for vehicles with expired registrations. The decision, which comes into effect from August 28, 2025, offers motorists additional time to renew their registrations without facing penalties.

The extension aims to facilitate vehicle owners who may have missed the earlier deadlines and to encourage compliance with road safety and traffic regulations.
