Pune University Qatar Campus Launches First Batch of B.Ed Programme

The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree programme has been launched for the first time at the campus. Gulf Times+1

It’s a two-year programme designed especially to address the demand for qualified teachers in the region.

The programme is recognized by India’s UGC (University Grants Commission), NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education), and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Qatar.

The delivery model is hybrid: online components combined with face-to-face classes in the evenings and on Saturdays.

Practicum requirements can be fulfilled by teaching in the candidate’s own school (no need to travel far just for practicum).

Fee structure: QR 12,000 per year, total QR 24,000 for both years. There is also a four-installment payment option.

Curriculum aligned with India’s National Education Policy, includes modules on yoga education, digital learning, health & wellness, community engagement, drama, art in education, etc.
