International Journalists Fraternity Forum (IJFF) organized the first NRI Conclave under the theme “India’s Diversity a Strategic Asset”, in which guests & speakers included renowned personalities such as Zafar Sareshwala, former chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, and founder of Taleem-o-Tarbiyat – Educational Initiative for the Underprivileged. Malek Raees Ahmed, Director of Anjam Group KSA , Shaikh Mohammad Rahmani, President of Abul Kalam Azad Islamic Awakening Center, and Chancellor Jamia Islamia Sanabil University, Delhi.

National political issues in India were discussed. The organizers were able to explain India’s progress and achievements and steer the discussion in such a way that the participants’ concerns and misconceptions were dealt with. They emphasized that misinformation is being spread by those with vested interests in order to portray India in a negative light on a global scale.

Dr. Ashraf Ali, KSA President of IJFF, pointed out the importance of being a responsible Indian citizen living in Saudi Arabia. He stressed the importance of never tarnishing the country’s image and always representing India well.

Sheikh Rahmani, an Islamic scholar, concluded his speech by warning about the future consequences of some celebrities expressing their opinions without being clear on the issues.

They also highlighted how India’s cultural diversity can be leveraged to promote economic growth, social harmony, and global peace. The first session was hosted by Overseas Ruby News Correspondent Abdul Nayeem Qayyum whereas female journalist, Shahzeen Eram hosted the panel discussion.

The event organized at the Red Onion Restaurant Banquet Hall, Olaya, Riyadh, was attended by more than 100 prominent community members and Saudi nationals. The event aimed to showcase India’s progress and achievements while addressing any concerns and misconceptions among the attendees.
