42-metre Burj Khalifa, Dubai Frame Steal the Show at Kolkata Festival

During Kolkata’s Durga Puja festival, a pandal in IB Block, Salt Lake featured a theme replicating Dubai’s Burj Khalifa and Dubai Frame. The structure is about 42 metres tall and was part of the broader festival decoration to emulate the look and feel of Dubai.

The design also included references to other iconic Dubai landmarks like Museum of the Future, Burj Al Arab, and more, blending Indian festival tradition with Dubai’s visual identity. The IB Block committee stated that this theme was chosen to project “Dubai experience” locally and showcase the fusion of cultural creativity.

The pandal drew attention on social media and among festival-goers. It is one of several visually striking pandals in Kolkata for this year’s celebrations.
