Two Indian Engineers Die in Road Accident on Riyadh–Dammam Highway

In a tragic incident, two Indian engineers lost their lives in a car accident on the Riyadh–Dammam Highway near Uraira, Saudi Arabia.

The victims have been identified as:

  • Shasib Ahmed Mohammed (35), an electrical engineer from Chennai

  • Shabbas Mahjoob Alishaikh (34), an engineer from Hyderabad

According to reports, the car they were traveling in collided with a road excavator. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

The deceased were working with a private electrical contracting company in Saudi Arabia. Their final rites will be conducted in Al-Khobar, coordinated by K.M.C.C. Welfare volunteers, who are assisting with funeral arrangements.

The heartbreaking news has deeply saddened the Indian expatriate community in Saudi Arabia, especially those from Tamil Nadu and Telangana, as they mourn the loss of two young professionals.
