According to the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), international arrivals to Saudi Arabia surged dramatically, with millions of visitors flocking to see newly developed attractions like NEOM, AlUla, and The Red Sea Project, as well as spiritual destinations in Makkah and Madinah.
Saudi Arabia didn’t just cash in—it also welcomed more visitors than most countries.

The country now ranks 3rd globally in tourist arrival growth and 2nd in the Middle East.
Tourism Minister Ahmed Al-Khateeb stated that the sector is becoming a key pillar of the national economy. “We are proud to see the global recognition of our efforts. Tourism is creating jobs, opening new business opportunities, and shaping a vibrant future for our youth.”
Saudi Arabia’s investments in transportation infrastructure, luxury hospitality, and heritage site development have significantly enhanced the travel experience for both domestic and international tourists.
Experts predict that Saudi Arabia will continue to lead tourism revenue growth in the coming years, cementing its position as a rising global tourism hub.
