The SGI Community Library in Jeddah was officially inaugurated through a joint effort by the SGI Jeddah Chapter and the SGI Women Collective. The opening ceremony, held at the Sharafiya M.R.A. Restaurant, featured a Qur’an recitation led by K.T. Abubakkar Abdurrahman, head of SGI Jeddah's Advisory Committee.

The launch was presided over by Mohammed Kunji, Chairman of the Jeddah SGI Chapter, with Anis Baiju, Head of the Advisory Committee, sharing insights about the library’s concept and the organizational efforts behind it. The library will operate through an online portal, enabling book circulation and membership, with teacher-coordinators managing the system.

SGI Women Collective member Amina Tansim unveiled her poetry collection titled "Shalabhayanam" during the event, which also celebrated Teacher's Day by honoring Reji Anwar, a teacher and media coordinator within SGI. Community members including Ruby Sameer, A.M. Ashraf, Shakir Husain, and others attended and expressed congratulatory messages. The ceremony was hosted by SGI Vice Chairman Nabeel Abubakkar, with SGI Treasurer Majid Kunji responsible for photography, and General Secretary Saud Kanthapuram discussing coordinator experiences. The event was moderated by SGI Vice Chairperson Rafseen Ashfaq, with thanks delivered by Sharaf Babtain, the organizing committee convener, and a warm welcome by Mohammed Baiju.
