? Describe and give examples of your role as a role model for the players or your team and others.
I have the honor to serve hockey from the age of 8 years. My devotion, hard work and sacrifices as well as confidence in my abilities paid me rich dividend as i served hockey more than 75 years. International hockey player, international hockey coach , international umpire, international administrator, technical advisor and now serving at the age of 87 as the sports consultant.
I served Indian hockey from 1949-1982 (33 years) and Oman from 1982 - 2017(35 years) thus i have established a unique record in history of hockey beside another land mark record that i represented Sultanate of Oman in four Olympics, and 5 Asian games, my record that represented from another country Sultanate of Oman for India i was the coach of Indian men’s team in 1973, 1975 and 1981, while as coach India of 1978 women cup Madrid and tour of Holland France and Britain 1979 Pre-Olympics for Indian women's team at Moscow .
During coaching career had produced several Olympic players who later became the coaches of India
Thus i am proud of my accomplishment in hockey and in Olympics as the technical advisor of Oman Olympic committee from 1983 to 2003

? What are the challenges you face you face during your career
I had to face lot of challenges but my determination and fighting qualities in adverse circumstances prevailed me over all obstacle, such as finding the financial resources, administrative problems. noncooperation by different quarters, but i was most fortunate to be supported by press and media .. thus i had the moral support to fulfill my mission in life most successfully

? You have any suggestions for the development of sports back in home country
It’s very vast subject still i can mention few points. The Indian sports are governed by the autonomous bodies supported by the Govt. of India. The financial assistance is provided by the Govt. for International and Olympic participation. In modern day the advancement in science and technologies the planning and development with aid of advance technologies and science. It must be followed and supported by top sports experts. The sports must be promoted from the grass root level which is most neglected part. School, Colleges, Universities are our nurseries. Political parties should be barred in the interest of development .
