Oman to Launch Golden Visa Programme for Investors on August 31, 2025

Oman’s Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion will officially launch a new Golden Visa programme for investors on August 31, 2025, during the "Sustainable Business Environment" event being held at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex in Salalah.

Key details include:

• The Golden Visa offers long-term residency to investors, enabling them and their families to live, settle, and grow in Oman with greater stability.

• Accompanying the visa launch are several strategic initiatives:

  • Al Majida Companies initiative — to support and incentivize high-performing Omani firms to expand.

  • Oman Business platform upgrade — introducing an electronic Commercial Registration (CR) transfer service, enhancing speed, transparency, and efficiency for business operations.

• The event, held under the patronage of Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, will feature cooperation agreements with prominent institutions like Sultan Qaboos University and the German University of Technology in Oman, aimed at bolstering the construction and innovation sectors.
