The Embassy of India in Muscat hosted a grand Independence Day celebration on 15th August 2025, marking a day of national pride and community unity. The event saw enthusiastic participation from the Indian diaspora, Embassy officials, and friends of India across Oman.

During the ceremony:

• The Indian Ambassador raised the National Flag and led the National Anthem with dignity and fervor.

• Patriotic performances by students from Indian schools, including Indian School Darsait, recreated the proud patriotic spirit with singing and thematic programs like “Har Ghar Tiranga".

• The Ambassador read excerpts from the President's Independence Day address, reflecting on India’s progress and future vision.

• The event highlighted both the cultural richness and the strong India–Oman friendship
