The Writers’ Forum Kuwait (WFK) convened its monthly meeting at the residence of member Anupama Chaturvedi, bringing together poets and writers from diverse linguistic traditions.

The session opened with President Mrs. Maimuna Chougle sharing the sad news of the passing of Sardar Gurbaksh Singh Dogra saheb, a senior and respected former member. The gathering observed a solemn two-minute silence in his honour.

The meeting then showcased a vibrant spectrum of literary contributions:
– Anupama Chaturvedi presented her takhallus ghazal;
– Mr. Muzammil rendered a captivating Farsi ghazal;
– Mr. Yajuvendra recited a contemporary Hindi poem on Diwali;
– Mrs. Kalpana Shah shared a warm poem on friendship;
– Sabiha Sahiba contributed a Hindi/Urdu composition;
– Pawan Singh ji impressed with a Punjabi ghazal;
– Mohan Singh ji presented his daughter’s profound English poem;
– Sayed Nazar Kadapawi saheb delivered an Urdu ghazal featuring the challenging radeef “disha.”

Members also extended congratulations to Mrs. Maimuna Chougle for the international special reference accorded to her recent work, Adab Daricha.

The evening concluded with warm camaraderie and thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Chaturvedi for their gracious hospitality.
