BDK Kuwait Chapter and Haripad Pravasi Association, Kuwait National Day Day Blood Donation drive

BDK Kuwait Chapter and Haripad Pravasi Association Kuwait (HPAK) have jointly organized a blood donation drive on 25th February 2022 at Adan Blood Bank as a part of Kuwait National Day Celebrations. The camp was also attributed to the 60th anniversary of India-Kuwait diplomatic relations and the 75th anniversary of Indian independence. A large number of donors from various segments of the Indian community have come forward, to express their loyalty and allegiance to the country they live peacefully on the occasion of Its National and Liberation Day.

The blood donation drive was formally inaugurated by Manoj Mavelikkara, in the presence of Afsal Khan (Zonal Head, Malabar Gold) and Niliesh Antony (Operations Manager, Caesars Food). Rajan Thottathil BDK Kuwait, Jayakrishnan, Pradeep Prabhakaran (HPAK) delivered felicitation messages to the donors. The blood donation drive was supported by BDK Kuwait Chapter’s corporate partner BEC Exchange, Bader Al Samaa Medical Center, Malabar Gold and Caesars Foods. The sponsors were honored during the event for exhibiting their social responsibility to promote the noble act of voluntary blood donation. On behalf of the HPAK Team, President Aji Kuttappan honored BDK Kuwait with a souvenir, for their proactive involvement in promoting voluntary blood donation activities. BDK presented a token of appreciation to the HPAK Team for the successful conduct of the camp. HPAK General Secretary Sibi Purushothaman, welcomed the gathering and BDK Kuwait Chapter’s Joint Convener Jayan Sadasivan presented the vote of thanks.

BDK event coordinator Nimish Kavalam coordinated the event. BDK volunteers Venugopal, Jiby, Yamuna, Jolly, Liny Jayan along with HPAK volunteers Pradeep Prabhakaran, Ajith Anandan, Lekha Pradeep, Thulasi Jayakrishan have offered voluntary service for the successful execution of the camp. Certificates were distributed to all the donors who attended the camp.
